That’s a tricky one, as we know so little about her I feel like one can go wild with headcanons. I’ll try to keep my headcanons “in character” for you though, based on how I interpret her character. 🤍

To me, it makes most sense for Blake to be or at least try to be an influencer of sorts. I’m not sure how much success she has, but she’s hot so she’s probably doing alright as the kind of influencer getting Boohoo and Fashionnova sponsorships, maybe some vitamin bears and Shein too. It keeps her afloat, but she’s definitely someone craving a certain lifestyle and will do what it takes to get it (good for her honestly!).

If she has siblings, I think it’s just one and that they’re older. I wouldn’t be surprised if it’s an older brother, who does everything “right” and has left her the wild child of the family. At least she feels wild and cool, her parents are probably super supportive and understanding of her, to the point where she’s used that to get them to give her what she wants (be it money or things). I think this is partially why she tries so hard to be all “I don’t give a fuck” to others and has become so good at swaying people to give her what she wants, which made her able to persuade Lurik/Noah during CA but quickly left after that.

Other than that, I think she lives in a nice little flat with her best friend, both of whom are Love Island fans and influencers. I don’t think she has a pet, or is interested in getting one. Hope that’s helpful, anon!

Like with most islanders, we get snippets of info on Rahim’s family background, but other than that we know very little! There are however a few headcanons that are shared between multiple people, and which I think make sense for him (honestly, the way fanon absolutely carries this fandom is insane [affectionate]).

For instance, a lot of us see him as having brothers who are all louder and take up more space than him. I personally see him as the youngest out of them, but please correct me if any specifics are mentioned in-game as I haven’t played in so long. I also think he’s raised to uphold a fairly traditional masculine role, wanting to provide and protect (I don’t think his family is necessarily conservative politically, but definitely more traditional and maybe Christian). However, Ibrahim to me is someone more awkward and adorably dorky by nature, which clashes with the pressure to be all tough all the time. I asked @itsrealityboo as she’s my go-to for Ibrahim insights, and she pointed out that he’s close with his uncle. So I wouldn’t be surprised if he’s got an uncle that’s more open to what Rahim wants, and is actively encouraging him to follow *his* dreams.

In-game, he also mentions his passion for comics, superheros (and superhero comics!), and in Murder Mystery he mentions shifting focus to pursue exactly this passion of drawing and creating superhero stories. I think he loves how this medium can be used to communicate some of the male ideals ingrained in him, but in healthier ways – if done right. This leads me to think that while he enjoys golf as well as being good at it, it’s more something that was expected of him, and potentially pushed by his family. I can see him coming from a very sporty family, with an expectation of being good at it as well, and Rahim tends to want to do and be what’s expected of him as an athletic black man.

Overall, I think he’s close with his family, while simultaneously finding it hard to truly be himself with them. He’s still so young though, and even from the main game and to CMM he’s grown more comfortable with himself – which we love to see!

That’s a great question, anon, and I definitely think their reactions would be quite different in action although similar in spirit.

Henrik would mostly just be sad I think, not understanding *why* Blake would do such a thing. Henrik is so optimistic and has such faith in people, that I think it’d really affect him knowing that others on the show are trying to hurt MC. I think he’ll want to make sure MC is doing alright more than anything, before asking Blake “Was that really necessary?” and confronting her to try and understand why. He’s someone who trusts blindly until he’s hurt by someone, and then he’ll never trust them again, so Blake will never be in his good books again.

Lucas would probably be pissed to be honest. He strikes me as someone who can’t stand deceptive people, and knowing Blake was trying to sabotage his girl? Yeah, he’ll be fuming. I can see him coldly and immediately going to confront Blake, demanding answers and denouncing her as a untrustworthy and a snake. He’d genuinely be a bit scary, probably making Blake cry, before turning and gently guiding MC somewhere else so he can talk with her to make sure she’s alright. He’d definitely try and get Blake sent home as soon as possible after as well.

Noah would be confused and sad and angry all at once. Man isn’t the best at reading other people (at all), so he’d be completely blindsided by it. Noah is also not a confrontational person unless really pushed to his limits, and I think he’d want to remain calm and collected if he can. So his focus would immediately be on MC and ensuring she’s feeling alright, and then reassuring her of his feelings. Still, I think if Blake acts completely unapologetic about what she’s done he’ll eventually snap at her, especially if she doesn’t stop trying to sabotage MC. I don’t think he’d yell, but it’d nonetheless be almost scary because of how rarely he gets angry like that.

Like you said: messy! Honestly I’d also have loved to see them together when on a non Lucas route, just for the chaos it’d cause 😭

I think they both have the potential to (and do, if Lucas switches) feel physical attraction to each other, but I also feel like it could be more of a Nope situation aka they’re in lust and not in love. Blake would probably expect from Lucas what she’d be more likely to get from Rahim, in that she wants to be worshiped and spoiled and treated like a princess. Lucas meanwhile is of course not interested in someone so focused on money and superficial things, but Blake is so manipulative he initially falls for her shtick. Of course, who could blame him though? Blake is SO HOT and clearly knows how to wrap men around her little finger like it’s nothing.

If Blake stayed after CA and they gave it a longer shot however, it would deteriorate so fast. There would be arguing and making up, and then more arguing. They’d basically be a more explosive Nope, and it hurts to imagine by precious Lucas in a situation like that tbh, but who doesn’t love a bit of pain… Someone write a fic where MC “saves” Lucas from Blake please!

I forgive both Lucas and Noah a lot around that time (and any Islander tbh) as the disaster recoupling and CA was stressful and anxiety inducing for all, but also I get what you mean 😭 MC really suffered at times, and so deserved finally getting her happily ever after at the end.

I think there’s definitely some writing around those episodes that doesn’t make sense in context but is that way simply to fit the narrative as you say. Also, Lucas seems to have some commitment and trust issues, and he definitely doesn’t like being caught by surprise – mix that together and you get a man who puts his foot in his mouth at times. I still love him though (second favourite after Noah).

Now, onto Henrik: He’s lovely! He’s funny, sweet, and all over has the best golden retriever energy. I joke about not liking him since he’s Swedish (I’m Norwegian), but he’s honestly a great LI. The switching to Blake during CA makes absolutely no sense in his case though, but there are some amazing fanfics for him too to help get over that. He’s not my type as I tend to prefer the more ✨mysterious✨ types, but definitely give him a chance and let me know how it goes!
